Yes, true indeed.  I know that it is not easy to be my friend, I can be loud, cranky, bitchy, busy, busy and busy where most of the times they have to accommodate to my time rather than theirs.  Yet my Gossip Girls still stick to my side during my thick and thin.  

We have known each other for more than 20 years and they have been a big part of my life.  Our relationship is quiet unique, I would say.  At one time, we have not seen each other for few years, everyone were so busy adjusting to our new life - being a wife, mother and career, but when we see each other, it was like the old days when we used to hang out every single day, no awkward moment at all.

I  like how wikipedia describe the value of friendship.

The value of friendship may be expressed as the benefit gained from a friend who is consistently demonstrating any of the following:

• The tendency to desire what is best for the other
• Sympathy and empathy
• Honesty, even in situations where it may be difficult for others to speak the truth

DPMM Gala Dinner 2012

Majlis Makan Malam Dewan Perniagaan Melayu Malaysia tahun ini diadakan di Renaissance Hotel, jadi who's who ramailah malam itu.  Paling excited adalah, sudah semestinya dengan kehadiran YBhg Tun Dr Mahathir.  Kalau dah Tun yang attend, traffic jam ke hujan lebat ke bukan menjadi masalah.

Tak sempat nak ambil gambar Tun atau penerima anugerah spt MD Boh Plantation, AIMST founder Datuk Seri Samy Vellu dan ramai lagilah. Paling best, ucapan Tun which 1 of the key thing dia sampaikan yang kita kena ambil peduli adalah orang Malaysia take it for granted kestabilan negara baik politik mahupun natural disaster. Betul juga tu, kalau dikirakan di Malaysia ni almost free from natural disasterlah, mana pernah earthquake, taufan, puting beliung ke unlike the other countries surrounds us. Bak kata Nabil, lu pikirlah sendiri!

MPA Magazine Awards 2012

Hola peeps!

Its been a while kan, sorry been quiet busy lately.

Anyway, something awesome happened yesterday at MPA Awards 2012, our company bagged 3 awards!! yeayy!!!  Milenia Muslim and Aniqah both won Gold Awards, Kunang2 won Silver Award for their category.  So proud of them, even its is not something new for the mags to win, we have won numerous awards pun but this year's winning is something that is really personal and special.

The event was held at MAS Academy, Kelana Jaya on 29 November 2012, as usual orang Kay Ell like me make few rounds of sesat yesterday, almost giving up but alhamdulillah managed to find the place.

Twilight Saga

I think most of my friends knew that I am a Twilight freak.

So when pagi ini bila ternampak seorang hamba allah bawak 2 bags full of Twilight merchandise, I was like WHAT!!???

 "apa ni?" sibuk tanya orang yang bawak barang tu, 

"oh ini merchandise untuk contest Kunang2 lah kak". 

 hmmm there it goes lah. No chance at all lah nak dapat barang barang ini, but that is for me, as for the others out there, you still have the chance to win TWILIGHT SAGA MERCHANDISE you alls!!! ada a very comfy bantal, shopping bag, t shirt. huhuhuuuuu *nanges*

 I am not eligible to enter the contest, so snapping some photos will do lah for now.  

Trying my hardest to give the gedik look as suggested by my colleagues, but lets face it, woman over 35 and gedik look just don't jive well.

Shopping for the hula girl

Arianna's 1st concert will be held next week at Royal Selangor Golf Club. 

This is Arianna with Abang Adik during her sports day

Kelas budak budak sekarang ni, konsert kindi buat dekat country club, auditorium, dewan besar besar. Zaman kita dolu dolu, alahai, takat buat dekat sekolah sendiri je.

Back to Arianna. Since, the mommie not in town, so Meylong dia aka Che Lynn will be taking over kerja kerja pencarian kostum. Daddy Arianna sudah whats app Meylong the school's requirement for the costume, its hula girl, or senang cerita hawaiian girl la.  Not a problemo. Small the pieces ngeh ngeh ngeh

This is something I have in mind for my gorgeous hula girl niece. Ain't it cute?

So, I hereby declare the Hula Girl Ops starts TODAY!!!  Meylong won't let you down Kakak Arianna, you will be the most gempak hula girl they will ever seen. I promise!!

SELF DAILY UPDATE

It is a busy week and i guess it will be the same next week also.  So, it looks like i have to cancel my annual leave (again) next Wednesday. Takpelah, we're not going out from KL pun, it just that I want to lepak lepak at home, relax, do some reading and catch up with my tidur.

I don't know why, but out of sudden teringat Jakarta, how I wish I am at Jakarta now.  When I think back, I can somehow relate the significant of my thinking of Jakarta with my current state, you see, ladies when they stress out all they can think of is SHOPPING, so I am thinking of Jakarta right now, which can be translated that I am a stressful woman which is in need of shopping to release her stress. Boleh? And why Jakarta out of all the cities - dah itu saja yang mampu :p

So how? shall we plan our jalan jalan? hmmm.....
