Malam tadi terima call dari my mother, bagitau yang my mother in law tried to call us many times tapi tak dapat. My step sister in law passed away. Dia muda, jauh lebih muda dari saya, belum lagi berkahwin. Kalau dah ajal tak kira tua atau muda. Just can't imagine my step father in law's feeling right now. Kesedihan dia kehilangan anak bungsu. The worst feeling ever for a parent, when you losing your child.

Assalamualaikum & Good day peeps!

Alhamdulillah, hobi saya yang terbaru that is membaca novel melayu telah berjaya membawa saya ke arah yang lebih baik. Membaca sudah sememangnya sesuai yang sangat sebati dengan diri saya, dan sudah disemai sejak kecil.  Even, I still remember having my own reading space bawah katil, just to avoid interruption from my siblings. I stocked some munching and air gas (LOL) sekali dekat situ, the actual reason behind it was, I am too kedekut to share it with them. 

My reading material usually in english, sebab musabab, because I want to improve kemahiran dalam bahasa yang satu tu lah. So bukan hanya bahan bacaan, buku dan suratkhabar in english, tengok tv - cerita orang putih, dengar radio - stesen yg bahasa pengantar dia english semua in english, sampai nenek dah naik risau dan minta saya berjanji dengan dia yang saya takkan cari suami orang putih, boleh?? LOL 

Cuma lately ni, dah hooked dengan novel melayu and seriously I never know that we have soooo many talented writers. Gila punye berbakat! Jalan cerita, konsep and mesej mmg sangat kesampaian, bak kata budak budak sekarang, ohsem!! Just that, my other half naik risau tengok saya baca novel melayu and to be franked he don't really like it just because, I cried alot. Yelah masa mula mula cuba baca novel melayu, manalah saya kenal style writer, so saya baca based on recommendation kawan kawan. I usually pilih novel yang light, happy ending tiba tiba baca novel yang sedih jalan ceritanya, so sudahnya 3/4 baca buku tu asyik nangis sajalah kerjanya. Sapa boleh tahan tengok bini pukul 3-4 pagi dok baca novel sampai nangis bengkak bengkak mata. Since dah few months didedahkan dengan novel melayu, so saya dah tau sikit sebanyak style writers and I have my fav malay novel writers sekarang tau, jangan tak tau.... My fav novels so far :

Untuk Semua Dosaku - Rin Ahmad
Masya allah, teramatlah ohsemnya. Jalan cerita, mesej mmg sampai tepat, kira makan dalamlah. Tetambah pula dengan pengalaman zaman jahiliah yang hampir serupa, so touching deep deep lah.  Another novel by Rin Ahmad tengah OTW, dengan tak sabarnya saya sudah pre-order.

Sebenarnya Saya Isteri Dia - Zura Asyfar
Ini pun best gila, baru tau yang novel ni sudah diadaptasikan ke tv series. Tak sabar nak tengok if it's good as the novel

Kisah Nas & Khalish - Hanina Abdullah
Agaknya sebab saya suka berjalan, melihat negara orang dalam misi untuk broadening my horizon, so cerita yang berlatar belakangkan negara orang akan cepat menarik minat saya.

The Wedding Breaker - Evelyn Rose
Novel yang eventhough light reading, sweet tapi banyak memberi pengajaran dan berjaya membuatkan saya berfikir balik akan hala tuju hidup.

Memang banyak lagi novel-novel lain yang best, but these 4 novels ini kira top of my list. Kalau ada yang nak membeli tapi malas nak mencari dekat kedai buku. Tak payah susah susah, ini zaman teknologilah, pembelian hanya di hujung jari anda, eh cewah. Pergi ke karyaseni.my, kakinovel.com, http://www.bukuprima.com.my ke ataupun http://www.mphonline.com. Senang je, delivery pun FOC untuk Semenanjung Malaysia.

Kalau ada banyak masa terluang, nak juga buat review and share it tapi belum cukup masa lagi. Insyaallah, in the near future, who knows :D

Sorry, lama tak update. Reason? jiwa kacau LOL! caught up with work stuff la. Sibuk sikit, even our annual cuti cuti obersea pun tak dpt buat last year. End up dengan some weekend getaway, itu pun dah syukur alhamdulillah.

Kalau ada rezeki (ongkos dan juga masa), harus tempat ini jadi pilihan...

Salam Isnin!!

Assalamualaikum dan Salam Isnin!!

Lama tak update, sibuk dengan tugas harian selaku superwoman ngeh ngeh ngeh super lah sangat. Sesuper super macam mana pun ada yang lebih super tu yang diatas tu, yang Maha Agong Maha Mengetahui.

Motif pagi pagi Isnin macam ni?  Tersedar dari tidur yang panjang, sungguhpun tidur tu tak lah lena sangat tapi agak agak banyak jugak la benda yang patut dibuat tak dijalankan dengan sempurna. Lupa dengan tanggungjawab pada yang satu. Umur makin banyak, kiranya rumah agaknya dah kata pergi, kubur pulak dah start kata mari...mari..mari... Kita pulak asik saja tak sedar diri.

Masa mungkin dah tak banyak mana, jadi kena kerja lebih keras dan bagus lagi, bak kata Abe Lincoln, whatever you are, be a good one.  Kalau dah sibuk, nak quite menulis ke? hell NO!! even tak update blog pun, I am still writing, in other form lah but writing still.

Well enough of the heavy, I shall leave you with some story that insya allah will keep smiles on your face. Here it goes...

A wife went to the police station with her next-door neighbor to report that her husband was missing. The policeman asked for a description. She said, "He's 35 years old, 6 foot 4, has dark eyes, dark wavy hair, an athletic build, weighs 185 pounds, is soft-spoken, and is good to the children." The next-door neighbor protested, "Your husband is 5 foot 4, chubby, bald, has a big mouth, and is mean to your children." The wife replied, "Yes, but who wants HIM back?"

Heheheee who wouldn't fall for a tall, dark and handsome guy kan but I am happy with mine and so crazy in love with him too.

My Best Friends Forever

Yes, true indeed.  I know that it is not easy to be my friend, I can be loud, cranky, bitchy, busy, busy and busy where most of the times they have to accommodate to my time rather than theirs.  Yet my Gossip Girls still stick to my side during my thick and thin.  

We have known each other for more than 20 years and they have been a big part of my life.  Our relationship is quiet unique, I would say.  At one time, we have not seen each other for few years, everyone were so busy adjusting to our new life - being a wife, mother and career, but when we see each other, it was like the old days when we used to hang out every single day, no awkward moment at all.

I  like how wikipedia describe the value of friendship.

The value of friendship may be expressed as the benefit gained from a friend who is consistently demonstrating any of the following:

• The tendency to desire what is best for the other
• Sympathy and empathy
• Honesty, even in situations where it may be difficult for others to speak the truth
• Mutual understanding and compassion; ability to go to each other for emotional support
• Enjoyment of each other's company
• Trust in one another
• Positively strong, deep, close reciprocity, mutuality—equal give-and-take between the two parties
• The ability to be oneself, express one's feelings and make mistakes without fear of judgement

Yup, that's what we have all these years.  To my Gossip Girls, you know who you are, Thank You for being a big part of my life and putting up with my songels and cekadaks. I love you guys! (sebab aku dah puji ni nanti korang belanjer aku macadamia cheese cake caramel sundae kat Ben's)

DPMM Gala Dinner 2012

Majlis Makan Malam Dewan Perniagaan Melayu Malaysia tahun ini diadakan di Renaissance Hotel, jadi who's who ramailah malam itu.  Paling excited adalah, sudah semestinya dengan kehadiran YBhg Tun Dr Mahathir.  Kalau dah Tun yang attend, traffic jam ke hujan lebat ke bukan menjadi masalah.

Bila nak makan ni kak???

Tak sempat nak ambil gambar Tun atau penerima anugerah spt MD Boh Plantation, AIMST founder Datuk Seri Samy Vellu dan ramai lagilah. Paling best, ucapan Tun which 1 of the key thing dia sampaikan yang kita kena ambil peduli adalah orang Malaysia take it for granted kestabilan negara baik politik mahupun natural disaster. Betul juga tu, kalau dikirakan di Malaysia ni almost free from natural disasterlah, mana pernah earthquake, taufan, puting beliung ke unlike the other countries surrounds us. Bak kata Nabil, lu pikirlah sendiri!
